Where backpackers meet business travelers
All rooms have AC to keep you cold during warmest summer days (and nights). And warm so you can stay at Tings Lisbon all year. And all rooms have attached bathrooms.
We do not have TV but all rooms have unique art. Our breakfast is plentiful with home-baked bread, fresh pressed juice, home cut cheese etc.
You have access to our common room with a guest kitchenette, a beautiful garden and a common space to relax. And a lovely cat 🙂
If you can make it to the top, we're sure you can climb the stairs to your rooms.
The house is historical and protected so we have NO LIFT, but help carrying your luggage up!
Our Lounge Rooms
Our seven Lounge Rooms are our best rooms. They are our biggest rooms, they have the best location in the house, bigger beds, best amenities etc, and three of them are on the top floors with private terraces with amazing views of the Tejo River.
All the rooms have air conditioning in case summer heat gets too unbearable. And warm in case the usually warm winter has some cold days. The coffee, tea and the refreshments in the fridges are included in the price. Same with our homemade and plentiful breakfast.

Our Cozy Rooms
Sometimes size doesn’t matter. As long as the room works and serves the purpose all is good. Our Cozy Rooms do that. They are not much bigger than the Basic rooms, but they just have some more coziness – the location in the house, the design is more cared for, and they have amenities like a small fridge and electric kettle, tea and coffee.
And like all our other rooms they have air conditioning to keep you cool or warm, you get our home made home baked and plentiful breakfast, and If you book directly the prices include tourist tax.
Our Basic Rooms
In our corporate past we always stayed in business hotels when we worked. But when we traveled privately we preferred the smaller and more casual places where business travelers meet independent travelers.
That’s why Tings Lisbon has four Basic Rooms. They are as cheap as dorms in Lisbon’s better hostels if you are two. But then you get your own private bathroom and our homemade and baked breakfast. And of course the room has Air Condition that will cool you down if the worst summer heat gets too much or the winter evenings too cold.
And if you book directly the price also includes tourist tax.
