Today we found a new fantastic sundowner spot in Lisbon!

How come we haven’t been to Alcochete before?

Instead of crossing the Vasco di Gama Bridge and head directly to Graca after our Sunday trip to the beaches on the Troia Strip we decided to check out Alcochete just east of the bridge.

What an excellent idea.

Alcochete is the most charming and pictorisque little village you can imagine. And an very good alternative to the usual sundown spots – especially if you combine it with a day trip to the other side of the river….

Alcochete even has a sandy beach  –  of course the water isn’t as clear as in Troia – or Estrella or Cascais. But its clean.
