Its Assumption day – Lisbon is closed. Its very boring
The feast day of the Assumption of Mary celebrates the Christian belief that God assumed the Virgin Mary into Heaven following her death. It is celebrated on or around August 15 in many countries, particularly in parts of Europe and South America. It’s also called the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God (in the eastern countries), or the Feast of the Assumption.
We have killed time doing a lot of boring things. But nothing is so bad that it isn’t good for something… so we have listened to a lot of fantastic music.
To all of us who didn’t get tickets for the Radiohead concert at NOS Alive this summer.
The concert is available on youtube in HD quality – a master piece of a concert of one of our favorite bands we have followed since their first concerts in Copenhagen in the early 90’ies.
The setlist included the formerly little-played ‘Creep’, their 1992 breakthrough single.
According to some fans online, the printed version of the set listed ‘Million Dollar Question’ – also from 1992’s ‘Pablo Honey’ – in place of Creep in the encore, and before performing the song, frontman Thom Yorke could be heard saying, “I don’t know, what do you think?”
