Tings Lisbon may not be the best hotel in town. But our location in Graca is. Now Brasil knows 😉
We get hundreds of news updates about Lisbon everyday. The best and most relevant stories we share with friends, guests and followers here on Tings Lisbon’s blog. Mostly stories about things that interest us personally or things that are relevant to our hotel or Graça.
Like this one from Brazilian newspaper Folha De Sao Paulo who just had a feature about the best places in Lisbon. One of the is our hood – so are our favorites Martim Monice and Intendente only 6 minutes walk from our door.
The Graça neighborhood is one of those places that still maintains a certain traditional Lisbon feel.
Despite the invasion of tuktuks that take tourists to the best views of the city, in the Miradouros da Nossa Senhora do Monte and the Graça Miradouro, there are still quiet, old squares through the streets and restaurants without queue.
For good food, try Pitéu da Graça, where the homestyle cod is served, dipped in olive oil and accompanied by crisp, crisp French fries.
For those who like a bar, next to it is the Botequim, a former artist stronghold of the late 1960s, which has been reopened and preserves the period furniture and the intimate atmosphere. From the menu come typical Portuguese snacks.
On hot days or during sunset, the tables around the kiosks at Miradouro da Graça are perfect.
For lovers of craft beers, in the heart of the neighborhood is the Oitava Colina factory, which opens its doors once a month for visits and tasting

Spring time in Graça where the Miradouro Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen is perfect for a sun-downer with the best view of Lisbon’s Skyline while the last beans of the sun colors São Jorge Castle, Cristo Rei, 25 de Abril Bridge and the Estrela Basilica.
The only place you get a better sunset is at Miradouro da Senhora do Monte also in Graca and just outside Tings Lisbon.
