Being a big foodie, I spend a lot of time in restaurants and bars. Lisbon is great because you can do this while sitting outside. It’s a bit crazy but in Lisbon you start the day with a custard tart. You have a coffee and a little pastry — this gets the sugar going, and the caffeine kicks in. The city goes on until late at night, so this helps to keep people going.
