A rainy day in Lisbon: A Photo feature by Søren Svendsen

What do you do on a rainy day in Lisbon?

Why not do the same as you do on sunny days?

Walk around town looking at people, buildings, tourist sights, shops or whatever pops up – taking shelter from the light showers with a coffee, Imperial and/or a shot of Ginjinha in one on the many pastelarias! And if the rain gets too heavy why not spend the day going shopping followed by an extended lunch or dinner in your local tasca or Marisquería & Cervecería.

And don’t let the rain stop you from climbing Lisbon’s many hills. The view from the Miradouros on the top are spectacular on rainy days where heavy water-loaded dark/grey clouds add a dramatic feel to Lisbon’s beauty.

We are so privileged to have professional photographers as friends. Like Søren who just visited us for week – with non-stop rain.

That did not stop him from shooting…
