The Agenda Cultura Lisboa guide is in all our rooms.
Agenda Cultura Lisboa publish a very useful monthly magazine with enough parties, exhibitions, conferences, concerts, festivals, fashion shows, theater performances etc. to satisfy even the most hard-core art & culture travelers.
You find the magazine in the best bars, restaurants and cafes and in your room if you stay with us. Along with selected flyers, postcards and flyers. That’s the way most events are marketed here in Lisbon.
As all us art loving travelers know – we need the information before we arrive. We want to research, listen to the band, check the artists back ground, buy tickets etc.
Sometimes it’s so annoying sitting with a cup of coffee in the nearest bar reading about something you really want to check out only to find out that you’re too late, the event is sold out or that you have already made other appointments.
But don’t worry – The Agenda Cultura Lisboa exists as a very good and readable e-zine version.
Tings’ recommendations for June
St Antonio hits town in June – so let’s be realistic – the local parties all over Lisbon will be more than enough entertainment for even the most enthusiastic traveller. And all us residents 🙂
Still there are a few programs in June we want to attend.
The annual Pride of course – it has become a tradition and a good way to show your support to the LGTB society around the world. We will also try to see the Lisbon Under the Stars show – multimedia events are always spectacular and an entertaining way to spend an evening. We don’t have kids in town – if we did Hans Christian Anderson’s O Soldadinho De Chumbo (The Steadfast Tin Soldier) would be on our list as well.
Check out the program here (if you stay at Tings – you will find a hard copy in your room.
