The room is small, cool and cozy. It’s basic with almost only a Portuguese Queen size bed (136 x 188 cm) facing the glass door, and – like all our rooms – private bathroom en-suite. And then an amazing skylight.
The artworks are unique photos from our collection How the Other Half Lives by Danish photographer Jacob Riis whose studies among the tenements of New York in 1890 started photojournalism. Thomas has blogged about Jacob Riis and the room. Read the story here.
