We have - and we love it!

Triangle Room on the second floor in the Big House is quite special.

Two corridors leading up to a triangular room with a triangular build in level raised above the floor, tables in the corners, a big mattress in the middle and a step down to the French door opening up towards the street. From here you can follow the life on Lisbon’s best viewpoint Miradouro da Senhora do Monte on the top of the highest hill in town. 

Our friend Aditya Aryal is the artist behind the painting of the beautiful Garuda, the Hindu & Buddhist deity that embodies strength, swiftness, loyalty, protection, and spiritual liberation. One of our many spiritual helpers that has guided us through our sometimes chaotic life with Tings.

In our corporate past we always stayed in business hotels when we worked. But when we traveled privately we preferred the smaller and more casual places where business travelers meet independent travelers. 

Triangle Room is one of our four Basic Rooms. They are not as cheap as hostels, but close if you are two. But then you get your own private bathroom and our homemade and baked breakfast. And of course the room has Air Condition that will cool you down if the worst summer heat gets too much or the winter evenings too cold.
