
Colourful streets, egg pastries and historic buildings: Discover Lisbon
Lisbon is not a place for a kitten heel – or any other heel for that matter. A mixture of cobblestones and hills make for decidedly unsteady footing, and trainers were my only option for exploring this historic city. It was the perfect day for it. Only a light smattering of fluffy clouds disturbed the bright blue sky and with the morning temperature pushing 30°C, I found the cool shadows of Lisbon’s cobbled backstreets a good place to start.
