Our recommendation to Lisbon’s Tram 28 works.

Some of our room need new bedcovers. So a few days ago we went to buy fabric in one of our favorite fabric shops in Campo De Ourique.

We used the occasion to try our our own all-the-need-to-know things about tram 28.

Tram 28E that has its final stop less than 100 meter from  the fabric shop.

One of our advices is about how to avoid all the tourists during the high season. So as we currently are surrounded with post-Covid tourists & travelers like never before it was a good way to walk-the-talk.

Instead of going by car (or walking) we went to Campo De Ourique by UBER so we could return by Tram E28 from its most (and final) stop.

We chose the least busy tourist hours – around 1 pm on a  Saturday with the first real sunshine aka beach day and lunchtime. 

When we were finished shopping and ready to return we went to the Tram stop just outside the cemetery. Only 4 others were waiting – so we could pick the seats we wanted and chose left side to avoid the sun. 

After a few minutes the Tram 28E took off. At 2:10 pm we arrived at Largo da Graça.

I used the opportunity to document the trip with snaps shots at the most important stops along the way plus a few relevant situations mentioned in our tram 28E advices.
