I think the outstanding feature of the museum is to blend a small and highly selective collection, which ranges from Ancient Egypt to Lalique, from medieval Syria to Degas and Manet, into a cohesive whole. It is an unusually homogenous and fluent journey through a museum space designed specifically for these objects, in an essentially permanent installation.
