You either love it or hate it - Tings Lisbon's Triangle Room
Stay differently. Triangle Room Tings Lisbon brings cozy angles and city spirit to your visit. On the 2nd floor of our big house, we have the probably only triangle room in Graça. It has a unique shape, a raised sleeping platform with a big mattress in the middle and French doors opening to the lively street below.
From there you catch a glimpse of Miradouro da Senhora do Monte on Lisbon’s highest hill, so the city is always just outside the glass.
The room is watched over by Garuda, painted by our friend Aditya Aryal from Nepal. In Hindu and Buddhist traditions, Garuda stands for strength, speed, loyalty, protection and a kind of spiritual freedom—qualities we have leaned on more than once during our sometimes chaotic Tings life. We spent years in anonymous business hotels, but always chose small places with character when travelling for ourselves; Triangle Room is our version of that: a little weird, a little spiritual, but personal and human.
Triangle Room is an affordable alternativ for backpackers, with private bathroom, homemade breakfast and air conditioning included all year. It is simple on paper, but the shape, street view and Garuda make it stand out among the usual rectangles.
If you want the bigger story, you can always read more about how we run things on our About page or browse all our rooms and book directly with us for the best deal.
