Welcome to Lemon Tree Lounge—a Graça room at Tings Lisbon that leans into comfort, creativity, and everyday Lisbon charm. Mornings start with sunlight through the French doors and the scent of ripe lemons drifting in from the garden. Our lemon tree doesn’t just give shade and color; its fruit sometimes ends up in morning crêpes or preserved lemons in the kitchen, turning breakfast into a small ritual.
Inside, Lemon Tree Lounge is a calm little world for reading, napping, and thinking. The four-poster bed faces Christian Lemmerz’ Flower Trilogy: lily for innocence, poppy for youth, black rose for loss. The work grew out of the tragedy at Roskilde Festival 2000 and is tangled up with Gertrude Stein’s words, so it hits deeper than most hotel art. Each night in this room links Lisbon lemons, festival history, and a lifetime of questions about beauty and fragility—very much part of our ongoing art story at Tings.
Step outside into the garden and you’re under the lemon tree itself—a quiet place for coffee, a book, or just listening to Graça waking up around you. Lemon Tree Lounge is more than a guest room; it is a lived-in space with books, music, and small traces of travels and friendships. There is year-round AC, fast Wi‑Fi if you need to work, and the homemade breakfast that guests keep talking about when they leave. If you want to see how this room fits our wider philosophy, you can always read a bit more about the way we run Tings Lisbon or drop by Tings Lounge to feel the local community energy.
