On the 2nd floor of our big house, Queen View brings a snug, personal feel, opening onto the garden with a small French door. Drift off in a queen‑size bed under Annette’s rococo‑style headboard, with rooftops and a slice of the Tejo River in the distance—just enough view to feel a bit royal without leaving the duvet
The walls here carry quiet jazz energy. Jan Persson’s portraits of Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie turn the room into a tiny backstage, where kings, queens and counts of jazz look over your Lisbon nights. They are part of a much larger archive, but here they just do what great music does—set a mood and spark a few memories while you pack, read or fall asleep.
Air conditioning keeps the room comfortable in every season—cool when the city heats up, warm when winter edges in—and our homemade breakfast is always included.
If you want the bigger story, you can always read more about how we run things on our About page or browse all our rooms and book directly with us for the best deal.
