Art & Poetry at Tings Lisbon.
KIRKAN shows his IN DEEP WATERS art exhibition in Lisbon.
We are alone running the hotel 24/7 and don’t have resources to run the Lounge, too.
But that doesn’t mean that the lounge is empty. The past months we have had several events: Anniversaries, wine tastings, dinner parties, cocktail parties etc. arranged in collaboration with friends who need a venue our size for their projects. To us it’s a way to bring some life and fun to the place. Something we need in these difficult times.
Until now all events have grown from the culinary world – and executed from our lounge. Opposite most other restaurants our size makes them feeseable even with the Covid restrictions.
But the lounge is more than a kitchen and bar.
It’s also walls, light and space – something we know our creatives friends need to show and/or express their works.
Like artist and poet Ilios Ilyas – aka KIRKAN. Due to Covid all his shows got cancelled so all his works made for his art exhibitions in 2020 has been stored away.
Now he has taken over the lounge to give art lovers a chance to see and buy his works. And to hear his some of his works for his upcoming collection of poetry
The event last 2 days on 11 + 12 November.
But it will be possible to see the art until the end of the month – by appointment with Ilos Ilyas.
