When we left Copenhagen to create Tings Kathmandu – our hotel in Nepal – we had NO experience in the hospitality business. But we had stayed in more than 2.000 hotels all over the world and had a pretty good idea about what we liked and what we wanted Tings to be. That was back in 2009.

Tings Kathmandu is history – Covid killed it. But in the 10 years it has existed our super staff managed to keep the hotel top 10 on all lists and as Travelers Choice since we opened. So our idea about creating the place we loved ourselves was right – our guests liked it, too 🙂 

That’s the place Tings Lisbon is. And we live here ourselves.
