The unique Duplex Lounge is located in the ‘small’ house on the 2nd & 3rd floor with a big 4-Poster Bed.

The bed is on the 2nd floor next to a French door with views to the Miradouro, and a compact, functional bathroom. From the corridor the internal staircase takes you to the attic living room: Small but super charming with a dormer window with French doors on one side and a huge glass wall/door to the small, private terrace on the other side with sweeping views of the river.

The attic has two couches that can be turned into extra beds for kids - it is perfect for a family with 2 kids, (but not with 2 big teenagers) and NOT for 2 couples traveling together). 

The Photo Portraits in Duplex Lounge are from our private collection of some of original photos of Bowie, Zappa, Johnny Rotten, John Lee Hooker and Nico by some of the best rock photographers from the 70’s and 80’s Jørgen Angel, Jan Persson and Søren Svendsen.

We can’t wait to run a Tings Art event with works of rock legends ‘shot’ by our friends… Still a dream, but who knows…. one day!

You can easily take an afternoon nap under the romantic Attic. Even on the warmest summer day the Air Conditioner cools you down. And of course warms you up if the winter gets too cold. So don't let the cold season frighten you. And like our homemade breakfast, it is included in the price.
