We love Booking.com. We use it for planning our travels. But as we know its limitations for hotels like Tings we always check out our favorite hotels own websites and we always book directly.

Believe it or not – we are probably the most romantic couple in the world. So we like being the 10th most romantic hotel in Lisbon. But we get a lot for ‘free’ romance with our location in Graça at the most romantic view-point in town.
We just got a really bad review about how the smoking in our garden bothers others.
Its our stupid fault.
We take the blame and take action immediately by banning smoking everywhere. Including in our garden.

We don’t mind bad reviews. But if the reviews are due to people having booked the wrong room – or choosing a completely wrong hotel – and then complain about services we don’t want or don’t want Tings to be – then the reviews are stupid. We just got two reviews from two guests who stayed in the same room and the same number of days but completely different reviews..
