Tings is not like other hotels. We have 3 different categories – but that’s mainly because of size. But all rooms are different in terms of ambiance, style and location. Our Lounge rooms are our most exspensive ones.
With a booking score of 9,07 our Duplex Lounge is one of our highest ranked.
Same room, same time of the year and almost same number of days… still completely different review of our Duplex Lounge.
It’s hard to have other comments to Jans review than: Wauw.
But we dont understand Andrea’s at all. Why does she mention TV when we tell before booking that TV is one of the things we DON’T want, why didn’t she ask for beddings for the lounge couches in the room, and all the other things she was missing. And more important: Why did she stay for 10 days, when she didn’t like Tings – and without telling anything? We have the fastest internet in Lisbon, BUT like all other cities on this planet we get the signal from a provider who sometimes do mistakes.
“For the room’s price I expect a certain ‘standard’ and more important – for this price I don’t want to have to ask for everything….” Andrea ends her review…. “if you need anything, please ask….” we mailed her, when we confirmed her booking.
We know exactly what was wrong:
She doesn’t like the kind of hotel, we want Tings to be, and should never have booked a room with us…
But instead of blamening herself for choosing only by the good ratings, without reading what kind of place Tings is – she blames us.
We just would have liked to make her Lisbon stay better – either at Tings or somwhere else. But we never got the chance, as she never told us.
So this review is filed as Stupid
We only rarely share our reviews. And when we do – it’s because it gives us an opportunity to get our message out.
Like this super review, Kathrine posted yesterday.
The reason why we share this review is because it shows how we think and want to act when we know or feel something is wrong.
When we realised that the wedding party in our garden might be a bit noisy to Kathrine, who stayed in the garden room, we immediately told her that it would all end at 11 pm and at the same time offered her another room if she wanted.
She didn’t, but appriciated the offer.
Andrea never gave os the possibilities to change and improve her stay.
