Annette & Thomas aka Tings (from their family name Tingstrup) with Line who designed our logo with Annette and her son Milan.
When we departed Copenhagen to establish Tings Kathmandu – our hotel in Nepal – we possessed no experience in the hospitality industry. However, we had lodged in over 2,000 hotels worldwide and had a clear notion of what we fancied and desired Tings to embody. That was in 2009.
Tings Kathmandu is now history – COVID-19 brought about its demise. Yet, during its decade-long existence, our exceptional staff managed to maintain the hotel’s position in the top 10 on all lists and as a Travellers’ Choice since our inauguration. Thus, our concept of creating a place we adored ourselves proved accurate – our guests appreciated it as well.
That is the essence of Tings Lisbon. And we reside here ourselves.
Being the best hotel in Lisbon is NOT our ambition – being located in Lisbon’s best neighborhood is. Graça is one of Lisbon’s last neighbourhoods where people genuinely live – that is where you will find us. Lisbon’s best One star hotel 🙂

We are only 15 minutes from Lisbon Airport by UBER/BOLT. We don't recommend taxis. Forget the Metro - the nearest station is only 600 m from Tings. BUT it's a vertical climb to the top of Lisbon's highest hill.
